Chrysler Cacciatore!

I saw an article that I found quite interesting yesterday. Dan Neil wrote a piece called “Chrysler expects to gain by adding ‘Italian Style’”. The author presented a synopsis of 3 of Fiat’s most popular European models. Featured were the Alfa Romeo MiTo, Fiat Grande Punto and Fiat Nuova 500. The run $14,000 - $30,000 with mpg ratings of 35 city and 55 highway. Engine sizes are small with an array of turo and turbodiesels. These are small cars. Will they be accepted by the American public in their present form or will their gas sipper concept lacking at Chrysler be redesigned to be successfully marketed to a driving public distinctly different from the European driver? I guess we’ll see.
