Gas by Class – Family Car Fuel Efficiency
Sep 29th, 2008 by gmoran
Is a Lexus in the picture for the family guy who needs to save on fuel costs all the while avoiding the hybrid upcharge? The Lexus IS 250 is an entry level car with an MSRP of $30,855. It is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. It is powered by a 2.5 liter 204 horsepower V6 engine. It comes with the Lexus luxury without the highest of the Lexus costs. The Lexus IS 250 isn’t the car for the most miserly among us but it is an alternative for the commuter that would like to enjoy a few creature comforts on the way to the office.
